New online ordering features
With its easy-to-use interface, rocksolid stability and amazing features, Door-Stop's online ordering configurator is the foundation of Door-Stop. Even though no other door manufacturer offers anything near the simplicity, speed, features of Door-Stop's existing web facility, the latest version 4 keeps us and our customers years ahead of the competition.
Door energy ratings
Door-Stop customers can also sell the benefits of its new Energy Ratings more easily with a dynamic pointer fitted to the online ordering tool. This 'rainbow' arrow shows exactly what will appear on the certificate installers receive when the order is placed. It also gives useful tips on what can be selected to help improve the energy rating of the door being configured. Choose thermal glass, for example, and in most door designs you should instantly see the arrow move up a band to give a better rating.
Go back facility
Even though there are only 5 simple steps to ordering a Door-Stop door, we have made it possible to backtrack through your configuration as well as stepping forwards. You can do this without fear of any of the options you have chosen being forgotten. Even if you have chosen a glass design and then go back to change the door style, your chosen glass will automatically be in your new door style.
Less clicks
In simplifying the glazing stage we have taken straight out of the process and given immediate visibility to all of the glass options that are available for the door that you have chosen.
Sharper product images
Every image has been re-rendered to provide the sharpest possible images to suit the latest screen resolutions. Even the Pilkington Glass images have been changed to give a more realistic effect.
Speedier processing
New tech behind the scenes makes the whole process much quicker, much slicker and much more positive. You think, you click, it's done.
Print function
Even though the moment you place your order you get a comprehensive e-mail confirmation we have added in a print function. This gives the option to be able to print off the image and specification of your configured door at the final stage before you complete the purchase.
Dynamic pricing
Now, if you use the online ordering tool whilst logged in to your Door Vault account you will see the price is what your company will pay, live in the top left corner. Even from the 2nd step the door will now incorporate the price for your door being glazed–where previously this price only became real at stage 4.
Last-minute editing
You've completed the door, you hit the checkout button, and then wonder if you remembered to put a low threshold on! With version 4 it's not too late. Simply click the edit button on any of the doors within your basket and you can pop back in, check the specification and even make changes.
New certificates
In version 4 we have upgraded not only the content of the certificates you receive when ordering a Door-Stop door but the format also. The U value certificate transforms to being an energy rating certificate, now that Door-Stop are the 1st ever supplier of energy rated doors. Also you will notice that this and the Secured By Design certificate are no longer JPEG format they are PDF.
More helpful help
We have moved the help notifications from the top of the screen to pop-up boxes. This ‘helping hand’ is now more obvious and more helpful.
Permanent delivery date
In the area previously occupied by help notifications you can now see when the door you currently have configured can be delivered for. This works dynamically with the specification you choose as you choose it.
New Door Vault dashboard
Your Door Vault control panel has been modified and simplified. You can now make the changes to your account with Door-Stop much easier and much quicker.
