How Door-Stop actually REWARDS customers for paying by credit card.
Ryanair started it. Now everyone is at it. Even the DVLA! Credit card surcharges have become so unpopular that following a super-complaint by Which? the Government looks set to flex its legislative biceps and impose new regulations to tackle the problem.
However legislation is not expected to come into force until 2014. In the meantime Door-Stop is leading the charge – pioneering the use of credit cards in B2B transactions and rewarding payments that others continue to penalise.
Instead of imposing a surcharge for payment online, Door-Stop International actually rewards its installer customers for using their credit cards - offering a £20 discount on every single door ordered through www.door-stop.co.uk. The more customers buy, the more they are rewarded.
“At Door-Stop we believe our customers should be rewarded for paying – not penalised!” explains Managing Director Nick Dutton. “In our view, taking payment online cuts down on administration and speeds up the ordering and delivery process. It’s convenient for our customers and a big benefit to our business. You have to be really greedy to charge people for paying you – it’s wrong and it’s bad business!”
The innovative online payment reward initiative became available from Wednesday 14th March 2012 and applies to all Door-Stop customers and orders, regardless of size.
