Door-Stop has won Best Website at the prestigious Construction Marketing Awards (CMA) for www.door-stop.co.uk. The site, which boasts a unique easy online ordering system – the basis for Door-Stop’s unmatched 3 day delivery service - beat strong competition from high-profile names such as Lafarge and Barrett Steel.

The judges described www.door-stop.co.uk as ‘an impressive site with a well-executed creative [that] has culminated in excellent results’.

The CMAs recognise the best of the best in construction and are co-ordinated by the Chartered Institute of Marketing Construction Industry Group (CIMCIG). Door-Stop previously won Best Website in the

2009 awards. Door-Stop’s entry was written and submitted by strategic marketing agency MRA Marketing, the force behind the company’s successful PR campaign, which drove traffic to the website. MRA also won two other CMAs this year.

Managing Director Nick Dutton comments: “This latest award builds on the recognition we received for www.door-stop.co.uk at the 2009 CMAs. We’ve achieved a lot since then – including being listed by The Sunday Telegraph as one of Britain’s Brightest Businesses – and we hope to build on this success, making it as easy as possible for customers to buy and sell our doors.”
