07/01/2010 - Door-Stop delivers every door on time despite the nationwide Big Freeze

Heavy snow and ice may have been causing chaos across the country, but for Door-Stop customers, it has been business as usual.

The intrepid Door-Stop fleet has travelled over 31,000 miles in the last week delivering to some of the worst hit areas from Cornwall to Cumbria. On one day, 139 doors successfully made it to their destination.

One delighted customer in the Lake District, Mr Crook of Windermere wrote in to express his surprise and gratitude: "I couldn't believe it when the Door-Stop driver Dale managed to deliver the door this morning despite the overnight 3 inch snowfall on top of 2 inches of solid ice!"
